Wade U704 4" Backwater Valve to suit Gratings and Access Covers with 4" throat.

We are pleased to announce an addition to our range of Vari-Level accessories,
the new U704 backwater valve.
Designed to fit within our standard vari-level and direct
connection gratings/access covers with a 4" throat, the new U704 backwater valve
can also be installed in other fittings or pipework with a 100mm bore.
Features

Made of stainless steel, with neoprene rubber seal ring and neoprene cup providing an
excellent seal against back-flow.

Range of expansion enables fitting into bores
between 99mm and 102mm diameter.

Stainless steel spring is tensioned to provide the
optimum balance between drainage and backflow protection.

Notes
-
If U704 is used with some trapped gullies, then
grating extensions will be required as follows:
G2, G3, G5 & G6 series - use U102
G8 & G10 series - use U104
GD series - use U102
GP series - use UP104

When used with some 50mm and 75mm vertical outlet bodies an extension may be
required dependant on position of membrane clamping collar and grating.
