We are pleased to announce an addition to our range of Vari-Level accessories,
the new U704 backwater valve.
Designed to fit within our standard vari-level and direct
connection gratings/access covers with a 4" throat, the new U704 backwater valve
can also be installed in other fittings or pipework with a 100mm bore.
Features
- Made of stainless
steel, with neoprene rubber seal ring and neoprene cup providing an
excellent seal against back-flow.
- Range of expansion enables fitting into bores
between 99mm and 102mm diameter.
- Stainless steel spring is tensioned to provide the
optimum balance between drainage and backflow protection.

Notes
1. If U704 is used with some trapped gullies, then
grating extensions will be required as follows:
G2, G3, G5 & G6 series - use U102
G8 & G10 series - use U104
GD series - use U102
GP series - use UP104
2. When used with some 50mm and 75mm vertical outlet bodies an extension may be
required dependant on position of membrane clamping collar and grating.
