SPEC. CODES FOR MEMBRANE CLAMPING
COLLARS
We are adding pages 5C1 and 5C2 to our Floor Gullies and Access
Covers catalogue to help understanding of collars and the different
versions. All catalogue pages showing cast-iron gully bodies are also being
amended to explain how to specify membrane clamping collars for
each gully body Series (amended pages will be dated November 2009).
Since March we have been applying Spec. Codes for membrane clamping
collars on our quotations and invoices. We are pleased that users
are finding it easier to determine which collars are used where.
If the selection or receipt of grating/cover is delayed, we can
still supply the bodies in advance to enable their prompt installation
(we will invoice for what we supply). The matching gratings/covers
and membrane clamping collars can be supplied on a separate
consignment and will be invoiced accordingly.
